Farmhand Adventure

About Farmhand Adventure Program

The story of Oak Glen’s pioneering families, parallels the spirit of our American heritage; grounded in the freedom and expression of the individual. This “Pursuit of Happiness” was expressed through working the soil, maintaining a homestead, and securing a future for generations of farmers to come. During your visit, students will try their hand at homesteading a claim of their own and experience the rich legacy of Oak Glen’s farming history. Visit with our master groundsman who will put your hands to good use on the farm. Help in churning ice cream for a mid day treat!

There’s lots of work on the farm and we’ll need your help to get it all done.
