Craft Club is a program designed to reignite the wonders of nature to children through unique outdoor experiences. This on-going series rotates activities and themes based around the seasons, which inspires a stronger connection with our Earth. This interactive program invites youth to create art with natural materials, engage with diverse plant life, and participate in seasonal folk craft.

What to Expect:
Children are introduced to a variety of activities led by our farm crew. You are at your leisure to visit the program stations and Children's Garden at any time during scheduled hours. We recommend setting aside two hours to enjoy the program of events and additional farm amenities.
Each participating child receives an eco-print bandana, panned gemstones, lavender wand, and lavender lemonade with purchase of ticket. Please note that children must have a reservation to participate in the workshops.
We recommend wearing close toed shoes and appropriate attire for this outdoor program.

Reservations:
Pre-purchased reservations are required for children, ages 4-12 or for any guest wishing to participate in the activities.
Limited spaces are available, so we encourage you to book early.

Cost:
Admission: $25.00, (ages 4-12) or any participating guest
​
Parents: Adults are responsible for the behavior of their children and are required to supervise and stay with them at all times during their visit to Stone Soup Farm & Heritage Orchard.
CREATIVE CRAFTING - ECO PRINTING
​
Using farm grown flowers and botanicals, children will create their own eco print using the Hapa Zome method. This safe and fun natural printing involves pounding flowers onto fabric, transferring color in a simple form. The result is a colorful piece of artwork that is unique to each child. We will printing organic bandanas for each child to take home.
EXPLORATIVE PLAY- LAVENDER LABORATORY

Our Children's Garden has several interactive play spaces for kids to engage in creative play. This space encourages art exploration with natural materials, discovering miniature landscapes, and play among woodland structures.

FOLK ARTS- LAVENDER WAND MAKING
​
Herbalism is born of gardens. It blends horticulture, folk art and craft for the sake of wellness. Harvesting herbs and creating beautiful ways of drying them is a fun art form that has been used for centuries. We will be harvesting lavender and weaving ribbon to create beautiful dried bundles for each child to take home.

Stone Soup Farm & Heritage Orchard is not able to offer refunds for events after the date of purchase or credit for future events. Stone Soup Farm & Heritage Orchard may make exceptions to this policy in extenuating circumstances at Stone Soup Farm’s sole discretion.

Cancellation Policy
While cancellation is unlikely, in the event of heavy rain or other circumstances, Stone Soup Farm holds the right to cancel the event. If Stone Soup Farm must cancel the event for any reason, a full refund will be issued to each participant.
