Craft Club is a program designed to reignite the wonders of nature to children through unique outdoor experiences. This on-going series rotates activities and themes based around the seasons, which inspires a stronger connection with our Earth. This interactive program invites youth to create art with natural materials, engage with diverse plant life, and participate in seasonal folk craft.

What to Expect:

Children are introduced to a variety of activities led by our farm crew. You are at your leisure to visit the program stations and Children's Garden at any time during scheduled hours. We recommend setting aside two hours to enjoy the program of events and additional farm amenities.

Each participating child receives an eco-print streamer, panned gemstones, lavender bubbles, and ice cream sample with purchase of ticket. Please note that children without ticket may not participate in activity workshops.

We recommend wearing close toed shoes and appropriate attire for this outdoor program.

Pre-purchased reservations are required for children, ages 3-12.

No reservations required for adults, teens and infants. Limited spaces are available, so we encourage you to book early.

Child Admission: $30.00, (ages 4-12)

Free Admission to adults, teens and infants.

Parents:  Adults are responsible for the behavior of their children and are required to supervise and stay with them at all times during their visit to Stone Soup Farm & Heritage Orchard.

Using farm grown flowers and botanicals, children will create their own eco print using the Hapa Zome method. This safe and fun natural printing involves pounding flowers onto fabric, transferring color in a simple form. The result is a colorful piece of artwork that is unique to each child. We will then take the dyed cloth and fix it to a wooden stick to create a streamer wand for outdoor playtime.

Our Children's Garden has several interactive play spaces for kids to engage in creative play.  This space encourages art exploration with natural materials, discovering miniature landscapes, and play among woodland structures.

Activities include:

lavender play dough sculpting

lavender bubble making

botany kitchen

gemstone panning

lavender crafting kids
ice cream making

There is nothing better than creamy ice cream on a hot summer day. Using our traditional machine, we will measure out ingredients and hand-churn ice cream for an afternoon treat. Kids will have an opportunity to learn about this popular warm weather dessert with a sweet reward for their hard work.
