Join us as we usher in the summer solstice with our annual lavender harvest. Enjoy relaxing in our organic gardens and orchard with lavender picking, seasonal tasting menu and midsummer activities.

JOIN IN THE HARVEST
PICK YOUR OWN LAVENDER
Step out into the sunshine with pruners in hand as you harvest organically grown farm lavender. We have integrated several varieties of lavender throughout our farm landscape to create a biodiverse ecosystem that supports healthy crop production with an eye toward the beauty of a pleasure garden. Our 150 year old apple orchard hosts intimate flower, vegetable and herb gardens that all work together as a permaculture guild, much the way home gardens planted in former days. We invite you to embrace the warmth of the summer by picking a bundle of our fragrant lavender.

WATERCOLORS IN THE ORCHARD
Take a seat at one of our tables in the orchard for a relaxing moment of reflection with watercolor painting. Easels, eco-friendly paper and watercolors will be available for you to paint the surrounding regional beauty . If you are not familiar with freehand, we will have sketched renderings of our farm for you to paint. All ages and skill levels welcome.

Flower Crown Making
Encircle ivy vines with florals for a midsummer crown to adorn your head in festive tradition.
Bonfire & S'mores
Traditionally, bonfires are lit to ward off darkness and usher in the longer days of summer light.
Gather yourselves around our stone fire pit to enjoy good conversation and roast summer delicacies.
Lavender Fare
Taste lavender infused drinks and food from the Craft House. We will be offering bbq bites, salads and crostini along with house made botanical infused drinks to enjoy alfresco throughout the farm.
Children's Garden & Playspace
Explore our Children's Garden where youth are encouraged to explore nature with miniature farm scenes and outdoor play rooms. Children can enjoy self-led lavender themed sensory stations.

Credit & Refund Policy
Stone Soup Farm & Heritage Orchard is not able to offer refunds for events after the date of purchase or credit for future events. Stone Soup Farm & Heritage Orchard may make exceptions to this policy in extenuating circumstances at Stone Soup Farm’s sole discretion.
Cancellation Policy
While cancellation is unlikely, in the event of heavy rain or other circumstances, Stone Soup Farm holds the right to cancel the event. If Stone Soup Farm must cancel the event for any reason, a full refund will be issued to each participant.
