PIE SOCIAL & PICNIC
at STONE SOUP FARM
We invite you to the first of our fall traditions with pie feasting and some old time fun in our apple orchard. Joining us is Pastry Chef Kaitlyn of Citrus Blossom Bakery. We will be sharing heirloom recipes, listening to folk tunes, crafting, and enjoying fresh baked pie on a crisp autumn day.

PIE FEASTING
Each pie is handmade from scratch using farm grown and local ingredients. Kaitlyn will be sharing her recipes and baking tips on how to make traditional fruit pies. Much like our grandparents of past generations, this is a time to come together and share as a community the sweet bounty of fall's harvest. We invite you to bring a cherished family recipe to share with fellow pie socialites. Like heirloom foods, traditional recipes are treasures that we are seeking to preserve. Human story told through the crumble of a crust and flavor of fruit fillings that satisfy our desire for something sweet and comforting.

Join us at our old fruit press to help make apple cider from our heirloom apples. Enjoy a sample at the end of our workshop.

Should it take your fancy, join us for an informal country jamboree, featuring local musicians to set the mood for our harvest party.

FARM PICNIC

Pack your own picnic or reserve a box with us. Our farm tables will be open but we recommend bringing a blanket and some throws to enjoy mountain views from under an apple tree.

Stone Soup Farm & Heritage Orchard is not able to offer refunds for events after the date of purchase or credit for future events. Stone Soup Farm & Heritage Orchard may make exceptions to this policy in extenuating circumstances at Stone Soup Farm’s sole discretion.

Cancellation Policy
While cancellation is unlikely, in the event of heavy rain or other circumstances, Stone Soup Farm holds the right to cancel the event. If Stone Soup Farm must cancel the event for any reason, a full refund will be issued to each participant.
