Pick Your Own Apples & Orchard Tour
Join our farmers in Stone Soup Farm's regenerative heirloom orchard to learn how and why we are integrating permaculture design with crop production. We will tour our flower lanes, kitchen garden, and 130 year old orchard while enjoying the abundance of the fall season. Tours run 10-15 minutes and conclude with apple picking at your leisure. Our farm provides bags for you.

Pick your own apples are not included with admission cost. If you wish to pick, apples are $4 per pound and sold by the bag.

Cider Pressing & Tasting
​
Using our vintage fruit press, our workshop group will select from a variety of heritage apples to make fresh cider. This is a collective workshop experience that concludes with a cider tasting and interesting discussions on traditional cindering. All cider pressing is for workshop timings. No individual gallons sold.

The Cultivar Studio & Shop offers a variety of small batch farm collections; lovingly curated with a distinct selection of locally grown produce, fine foods, home wellness, and natural body care. Chef's Apple Tasting
Join us for a culinary tasting that hits all the autumnal cravings. We welcome Chef Andy of Comal L.A. and Chefs Shea & Bonnie of Happy Mediums to this year's apple tastings. Enjoy a selection of farm sourced small bites that embrace the flavors of season.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book my visit ahead of time?
Tickets are required for guests ages 4 years+ for this event. Our micro-farm limits the capacity to ensure a quality experience for our guests. There are no refunds on tickets or change of dates.

Will you cancel the event in case of rain?
Apple Fair takes place, rain or shine. While cancellation is unlikely, in the event of heavy rain or other circumstances, Stone Soup Farm holds the right to cancel the event. If we must cancel the event for any reason, a full refund will be issued to each participant or you may select an option for a back- up date.

Is there a charge for parking and where do I park?
There is no charge for parking. All parking is located in front of our farm along Oak Glen Road. Guests with special accommodations may be dropped off in front along the turn around.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or credit cards. Due to our mountain service limitations, we cannot accept Apple pay or any other form of contactless payment at this time.

Is there a contact phone number to reach someone in person?
We are a small family run farm and are often working in a field or orchard. The best way to get the most updated information is by either by filling out the contact email form or following our social media pages. Due to the volume Apple Fair related questions we receive and the capacity of our small team, we’re only able to provide phone support for private bookings. We appreciate your support.

Are dogs allowed?
No pets are allowed on the farm.

Are there other U- Pick apple dates available?
We offer select weekday picking through our Family Farm Day experiences. Please visit HERE. Pre-picked apples will be available for purchase in our farm shop after Apple Fair until the crop is finished for the season.

May I press my own gallon of apple cider to take home?
The cider pressing workshop and tasting is included with admission. We will not offer individual cider pressing for this event, however, our neighbors will have their presses open for private gallons. These farms are within a short walking distance from our farm and may be accessed throughout the day. Please note that our cider press will be open every other weekend in October and November for private pressing until the crop is finished.

Do I need to bring anything with me to pick?
Our farm provides containers for our u-pick offerings.
Can small children pick?
Of course children may pick!! Every year, families visit our farm to pick delicious berries and apples. We recommend wearing closed toed shoes and comfortable clothing while enjoying our outdoor gardens and orchards.

What are the Rules to be observed during my visit?
No picking flowers, vegetables or fruit that is not otherwise given permission during your visit.
No taking items from the Children's Garden or any other space on the farm.
Please refrain from disturbing any plants, rocks, gardens, or other natural features on the farm.
Will you have food?
We will have seasonal fare and beverages for purchase onsite. Chef's Apple Tasting is included with admission. Offsite food is permitted, however, we ask that you pack out whatever you pack in.

Where is Stone Soup Farm?
We are located in scenic Oak Glen, California, in the San Bernardino Mountains. Our farm is located next door to our friendly neighbors at Willowbrook Farm. Please note: we are not Riley's Farm, which is located near to Stone Soup Farm & Heritage Orchard.
