Craft Club is a program designed to reignite the wonders of nature to children through unique outdoor experiences. This on-going series rotates activities and themes based around the seasons, which inspires a stronger connection with our Earth. This interactive program invites youth to create art with natural materials, engage with diverse plant life, and participate in seasonal folk craft.

CREATIVE CRAFTING

Inspired by summer campouts, our featured craft is creating nature lanterns. We'll use glass jars as our vessels and decorate with pressed flowers and foliage from the farm. Children can select from a wide variety of plants to decorate their lanterns and learn some fun plant fact.
EXPLORATIVE PLAY

Our Children's Garden has several interactive play spaces for kids to engage in creative play. This garden invites kids to create art with natural materials, discover miniature landscapes, and play among woodland structures. Gemstone panning is the highlighted activity for this portion of the program, offering light water play while exploring geoscience.

FOLK ARTS

There is nothing better than creamy ice cream on a hot summer day. Using our traditional machine, we will measure out ingredients and hand-churn ice cream for an afternoon treat. Kids will have an opportunity to learn about this popular warm weather dessert with a sweet reward for their hard work.
